The watch back remover tool has adjustable tempered tips that can be adjusted from 0.5 inches to 2.2 inches, allowing it to fit various watch case sizes. To change your watch battery, first, ensure that your watch case back is a screw-off type. This can be determined by looking at the back of the watch - if it has regularly placed notches on the case back, it is an indication that it is a screw-off watch back.
Next, place the watch case in the watch holder to protect it and hold it steady during the process. Put the watch into the watch case holder and adjust the distance between the white posts and the black knob until the watch case is securely held.
Adjust the watch back remover to fit the notches of the case back. You can use the screw control between the tips to ensure the watch back remover fits snugly in the notches. Open the watch back remover's notches wider than the case of the watch, then, with one tip in a notch, tighten the watch back remover until both tips fit securely in the notches of the case back.
Grip the watch holder to keep it from moving and begin turning the watch back remover clockwise or counterclockwise to open the watch case. Do not force the watch back remover to move too quickly, as it may slip and scratch the watch case.
Finally, choose the appropriate watch battery from the 2 pcs of LR626GH and 2 pcs of LR920G batteries included in the package. If neither of these battery types is suitable for your watch, you will need to purchase a suitable watch battery separately.
